Another argument, vaguer and even less persuasive, is that gay marriage somehow does harm to heterosexual marriage. I have yet to meet anyone who can explain to me what this means. In what way would allowing same-sex partners to marry diminish the marriages of heterosexual couples?

This is such a shame. For some women, a 24 hr waiting policy is only 24 hrs more of agony. For some women, having to be there for an ultrasound is only digging the knife in deeper. For some women, preventative programs through planned parenthood are the only source they have for contraceptive and sexual health information. i understand that a lot of people (men) don’t like this idea of abortion, but why choose to begin to undermine my right to myself and my unborn child so you can sleep at night? if you don’t approve, don’t get one. but don’t start a process that works on telling me that i have no right to my own body and its reproductive system.
and pro-life license plates? come on.
